Botox for Different Ages

Botox in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire

Botulinum Toxin, known as Botox, is one of the most popular cosmetic procedures in the UK to date, and administered by professional hands at Clarendon House Dental Centre in the heart of Leamington Spa. It works by relaxing the treated muscles so they contract a little less, softening the appearance of wrinkles. Botox treatments usually last between 4-6 months, and maintenance appointments are required to sustain previous results. Clarendon House Dental Centre’s very own facial rejuvenation expert, Caroline Milner, was trained in the prestigious Harley Street, London, and has over 10 years of experience in facial rejuvenation so you know you’re in good hands. Here is what she could do for you…

  • I’m in my 20s, do I need Botox?

Based on the individual and if you are starting to notice the same wrinkles in your resting face as you are in older relatives, you may be genetically prone to wrinkles in these areas. In this case, book a free consultation with us to discuss your options.

  • I’m in my 30s-40s, do I need Botox?

If you’re experiencing unwanted lines and wrinkles, then we at Clarendon House can help you.

Crow’s feet occur when muscles contract under thinning skin, causing wrinkles. We use Botox to relax the muscles and prevent this contraction, reducing the visibility of wrinkles around the eyes when relaxed or smiling.

Frown lines between the eyebrows can make you look angry, unapproachable, or squinting. By injecting directly into the muscle between them and possibly combining treatment with dermal fillers, we can reduce frown lines within minutes for a smoother face.

Forehead lines can be genetic and are more prominent as we age. Certain lifestyle habits such as smoking or excessive sun exposure can produce deeper forehead creases that may need more attention than ‘natural’ lines. With Botox and possibly dermal fillers, we can help lessen the appearance of such lines.

  • I’m in my 50s-60s, do I need Botox?

As well as the above procedures, Clarendon House offers Botox treatments in more advanced ageing skin.

The neck or the ‘Nefertiti lift’ uses Botox to smooth the neck and is effective at treating horizontal and vertical lines. We can address what is sometimes referred to as ‘turkey neck’ with targeted Botox treatments.

Chin dimpling can happen as we get older when the muscles there become more active, which can create a puckering of the skin. We can use Botox to reduce the appearance of this dimpling effectively and easily.

Non-surgical brow lifts involve the targeted injection of Botox around the eyes and upper face to lift the brows and lift hooded or droopy lids. We can help you with this and everyone is different, so book a free consultation to find out what is best for you.

  • What else can you help me with?

Botox use doesn’t always have to be cosmetic, but its has medical uses too…

Hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating in the underarms, feet, and hands can be managed with Botox. Treatment can last for 3 months and can give you back the confidence you may have lost due to excess sweat, ideal for those worrying about a hot holiday or a special occasion.

Teeth grinding and jaw clenching can give you worn down teeth and headaches, and can develop during periods of stress or anxiety. Luckily, Botox can be injected into the jaw area to relax the muscles and we have a lot of experience in dental care. Migraines can be managed with targeted injections of Botox, and can prevent them before they even start.
